Abhinav Chauhan - Founder, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)
Abhinav Chauhan is a visionary biotechnologist and entrepreneur with deep expertise in bioinformatics, biotechnology, materials science, Quantum Physics and project management. As the Founder, CEO and CSO of Promecens, Abhinav leads the company’s mission to transform sustainable biomaterials into next-generation solutions for industries spanning semiconductors, medical devices, solar energy, and cosmetics. Abhinav holds advanced degrees from University of Cambridge, Trinity College Dublin, Monash University, with specialization in immunotherapeutics, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics, quantum physics and biotechnology. His career spans prestigious institutions and companies, including CSIR-IGIB, MIT, Monash University, University of Cambridge, Trinity College Dublin, Pfizer, Novartis, where he led cutting-edge R&D, circular economy initiatives, and large-scale technology projects. Known for his innovative thinking and commitment to ethical science, Abhinav drives Promecens’ focus on high-purity melanin, advanced chitosan derivatives, and biopolymer systems with applications that address real-world challenges. His work bridges the gap between science, sustainability, and responsible business, setting a global benchmark for Promecens’ values.
Aman Dahiya - Co-Founder & Chief Management Officer (CMO)
Aman Dahiya is a dynamic leader with a passion for strategic planning, operational excellence, and sustainable innovation. As Co-Founder and Chief Management Officer at Promecens, Aman ensures that the company’s ambitious scientific goals translate into scalable, high-quality, and ethical production. Aman holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and has successfully managed cross-functional teams and complex projects across technical R&D, manufacturing, and business development. His experience includes space utilization optimization, process formulations and improvements for biopolymers, and forging strategic partnerships - all key to Promecens’ growth and impact. With a strong commitment to inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement, Aman plays a pivotal role in building Promecens’ operational frameworks, supply chain ethics, and customer-focused culture.
